Construction:

Moniba De-watering pumps are portable pumping units which have pump below and motor above construction. These are powered by squirrel cage induction motors suitable for 400/440 volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz AC supply, totally enclosed. The motor windings are water and oil resistant and ingress of water or moisture inside the motor due to seal failure or other reason will not render the pump inoperative.

The pump motor unit is of close coupled construction and the double casing design provides on effective water cooling of the motor by water flowing around the motor casing the motor is sealed by special mechanical seal so that the pumping media like waste water, storm water muddy and sandy water does not enter the motor chamber and damage the motor. All parts are made from specially selected material and processed to ensure long life under arduous operation conditions.

Moniba De-watering pump sets are available in both type i.e. water filled, cooled & lubricated as well as oil filled, cooled & lubricated design.

Application

Moniba De-watering pumps are particularly suitable for nonclog operation to handle muddy as well as sandy water. They are used to pump out water from the lowest levels such as De-watering of building construction sites, dam sites, narrow trenches, pits and shafts, mines, difficult to approach sumps, for flood control, firefighting and other purposes, where waste water disposal is necessary. These also find use for pumping work in ship building yards, De-watering ash laden water in thermal power plants and tube mills.
